Not a site — a product
the year we releasedour own engine
In 2011 there were almost no ready-made solutions: everyone built “their own social network” from scratch. We took a different path — we designed the whole engine: the architecture, the database, the modules and the admin panel, built for thousands of active users.
Vii Engine was sold as a licence — real projects and communities launched on it. And it taught us the main thing: to hold an entire large product in mind — performance, security, usability and growth — not just a single page.
Today Vii Engine is part of our history. But it is exactly this experience that stands behind every product Vii Studio builds now.
